DOUBLE MAJOR INFORMATION

TO THE ATTENTION OF OUR STUDENTS,

In 2020-2021, our Faculty's Energy Systems Engineering Department, Mechatronics Engineering Department and Mechanical Engineering Department will begin to organize a Double Major Program (Double Major) for students. If they meet the application and admission requirements, students studying in these departments can apply for a Double Major Program.

At the beginning of the academic year the calendar for applications to our Faculty's Double Major Program is announced on the Faculty's website.

If you meet the following conditions, you can apply by hand delivery to the Faculty Documents Registration Unit with your Transcript in the attachment of Application Form, or by sending an e-mail to teknoloji@cbu.edu.tr of the scanned version (photo) of the application form and transcript. During the course registration week, students applying by e-mail are required to submit the original documents for student affairs.

Application and Admission Requirements for the Double Major Program

1. The student must have completed all the courses in the undergraduate program successfully up to the semester he/she applied for.
2. The student must not be enrolled in another double major program. Students cannot enroll in more than one double major program at the same time.
3. At the beginning of the 3rd semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the 5th semester at the latest, the student can apply to the double major program.
4. At the time of application, students who have a GPA of 3.00 out of 4 in the major diploma program and in the top 20% of the relevant class of the major diploma program can apply to the second major diploma program.
5. Applicants are listed by the Board of the Relevant Department according to their academic averages and the reserve candidates are determined and announced as half of the quotas previously announced.
6. The admission process of the student whose application is approved by the relevant department is completed with the decision of the Faculty Board of Directors upon the recommendation of the department applied.
7. A diploma is awarded to students who successfully complete the double major program within the scope of the relevant directive
